Who We Are

The new producers of New Dawn Fades are Tony Davidson (left) and Nigel Carr (2nd right) under the name Tin Orb (Ltd). You’ll have to ask Brian about the company name as he came up with it! Tony operated TJM record label and rehearsal studios (on Little Peter Street) in the late ’70’s. The label released records by The Distractions and Slaughter & The Dogs amongst others. The rehearsal rooms played host to a plethora of up-and-coming bands and artists. Buzzcocks, V2, Mick Hucknall and of course Joy Division. It is where the famous video for Love Will Tear Us Apart is filmed! Nigel Carr is an entrepreneur and partner in celebrated online magazine and radio station Louder Than War.

Brian Gorman (2nd left) is the talented writer, actor and artist behind the play and graphic novel.

Mark Jones (right) is Artistic Director at Chorley Theatre and is directing the 2023 production of New Dawn Fades.
