Venues Decided
We found our spiritual home at Disorder in Manchester where we have had a number of meetings about the Play! Most notably we have now fixed the venues after furious few weeks of negotiations. HOME had no availability for October so we started enquiring at The Royal Northern College of Music which has allowed us to stage the play there for two nights on the 13th and 14th of October. This proved serendipitous as we had already slotted in The Met – Bury for the previous two days and Sheffield Leadmill! This meant that the hallowed five night run that we didn’t think possible was now in place and it would all kick off on the 10th of October in Sheffield. Result!
Disorder is an incredible Joy Division styled bar in the edge of The Northern Quarter in Manchester. The site of the old Walrus Bar on High Street was already booked for Tony Davidson’s Cherry Red album launch, so became has become our go-to home! There is a wonderful Ian Curtis mural upstairs and downstairs is teh perfect moody performance venue!
